Primary & Secondary SENCOs, Inclusion Leaders, Teaching Assistants.

 

Aim(s) of the course

To enable participants to acquire therapeutic intervention skills for use in school settings

To focus on narrowing the achievement gap by creating an enabling environment for pupils to access the curriculum

To enable course participants to grow in confidence and skill in using sandtray as an intervention technique

To ensure high professional standards are met and maintained

 

Course Description

Sandtray is a powerful way of helping children in need of additional support to process relevant issues, situations, and conditions that may impede their current learning journey. By being able to confidently facilitate sandtray sessions, delegates will enable children to help themselves to narrow the achievement gap.
